Amble is a short film created in 2024 by six students, marking our first collaborative experience working through a full 3D animation pipeline. Each of us took on multiple roles, learning new skills along the way.
The story takes place in a city abandoned after severe inundations. Its architecture, a blend of art deco and retrofuturism, reflects human anthropocentrism and ostentation, with colossal human statues standing frozen in place, still claiming ownership of a world from which humanity has long disappeared. We follow a bus that continues its route with quiet persistence, alongside other robots left behind on the island, all strictly carrying out the purposes they were built for.
